Works of Art All of my paintings are considered single, original works of art I do not produce what is technically considered to be "edition prints" Every image I create is different from another image made from the same digital file
Although I retain a small number of presentations for immediate sale, each work must be individually commissioned.
Commissions using your own flowers or botanical favorites are also an idea to consider.
It's best to describe your artistic preferences, the motif or painting you want and the conditions it will be displayed in....and your budget limitations, ofcourse. I can produce unframed, unmounted artwork or I can have it framed or mounted according to your taste. I can produce anything from smaller or gift art to extremely large wall murals.
I create my artwork as a painter does with the intent to produce the image on watercolor paper or fabric canvas. Though, technically, most scanned images are considered "photography" this is often only the departure for me. The images you see on these pages can only be viewed devoid of texture created by both the image and the paper or canvas it is seen on. It's a good idea to order a smaller "sample" painting before commissioning a very large one. I produce certain works in larger sizes intended to be framed or presented on canvas, but many motifs can be imprinted in any size. Certain motifs have several color interpretations- from clear bright hues to more pastel tones. Foliage in particular can be modified from the natural bright blue-greens to more yellow greens. I make too many scans to display them all in this gallery, so there might be something you are looking for that I have, but isn't displayed here.
Since nearly all work is commissioned and framing costs vary widely there are no set prices. Please email me to discuss what you want and what your budget will allow.

All the Blues Fit to Print 23"x30"
Look at this! A canvas mural measuring 14 feet long by 5 and a half feet high- suitable for commercial space. This mural is for sale. Price on request. I can produce "themed" murals on canvas or paper for commercial applications in a restaurant, salon or boutique or for private residence. Murals can be mounted or attached to the wall. (This is a separate cost.)
Driftwood on St. Mary's
Best described as a "painting within a painting". I scanned Lia's naive-style painting on a chunk of driftwood measuring about ten inches long. Then I superimposed it against a re-painted picture of the Fayerwether Lighthouse as seen from St. Mary's. I wanted to see just how big I could make this little piece of driftwood! This mural was displayed on the wall of a seafood restaurant that is now OOB. The mural can be viewed on request, just drop me an e-mail blackrosegallery@aol.com to make arrangements.
